For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. - Ecclesiastes 3:1
As Summer comes to a close, and the weather begins to change, things have been changing for us.
I quit my job (a dead-end, just a little something job) back at the beginning of the month. It was a decision Hunter and I came to together. We decided that the job was burning me out constantly, no matter how much time I took off or how much I tried to relax on my time off. I didn't have enough time with my friends, family, church, or Jesus. The pay wasn't anything to hold your breath over, so quitting didn't really have much of a financial impact. I made so many friends working there, all of whom I will miss - but it's for the best.
I re-branded my shop and opened as Heart of Gold, a blog that I've been working on for a few months. I figured I could just combine the two, at least for now, and see how it does! I'm so excited to see what the future has for it, and I have so many ideas!
I've been thinking of planting a little garden, maybe in pots or something cheap and raised. We want to eat healthier, but that can be expensive, and I hate wasting food when life gets crazy and things sit in the fridge.
The Lord continues to teach us, and we continue to lean on Him. I'm trying to get back to church, but I've been sick almost every Sunday since I quit. It's nagging at me, which is good, because church is important!
As we go into the new month, I'm praising the Lord for every opened and closed door he presents. I pray the new month will be rejuvenating and full of love and growth.
Thank you for spending a little bit of your time here; every little bit helps this dream grow! If there are any posts you'd like to see, comment them - I'd love to know!
